Dumpster Dads, co-founded by lifelong friends Josiah Williams and Michael Spitz, offers efficient and cost-effective waste management solutions to the local community. Josiah and Michael both attended Wando High School and Clemson University together, with Josiah earning a Bachelor’s in Business Management and Michael obtaining his degree in Finance, which he followed up by obtaining his MBA from College of Charleston. The two decided to enter the dumpster rental industry after investing in real estate and experiencing firsthand the inefficiencies and long turnaround times that plagued the waste management sector. This sparked their entrepreneurial spirit, leading them to create Dumpster Dads with a group of small investors. Dumpster Dads started with an F250 and 2 dump trailers, which Josiah drove for years while Michael ran the phone.

 The Dumpster Dads take great pride in this company they have built from the ground up and will always stand behind their work. As Josiah learned from his dad, “Your word can either be priceless or worthless, depending on how you treat it.”

Dumpster Dads has put an emphasis on fast, reliable and effective service. The company’s success is primarily attributed to their focus on customer service, with Josiah currently handling day-to-day operations like dispatch, sales, and scheduling, while Michael takes care of financial aspects like accounting and purchasing.
